August News III. (August 2014)

Hi folks.

Our 1/72 vehicles section seems to be up to date now. There have been lots of new models past two months. More important updates are as follow.

By number of new models, the winner is S-Model !! Chinese brand bring us 6 new models as follow:

Seems that the brand has learning to take care of their already released work, so many parts of this new batch are from already released models, but anyway, his standard quality and price make this models very appealing to gamers and they are covering some nice gaps, such UE Chenillette, a very welcome addition to carry on all this AT released by ACE.

One step behind, with 4 models released is the Polish brand “First to Fight” who keeps his continuous rate, although the scheduled infantry sets seems to be delayed. Their updates are:

Specially in this batch we like the Fiat truck, a very usable item.

Chinese brand Model Collect storms again, with 3 new versions for the well know T-64 soviet tank.

While vehicles for these periods are a well bunch, still there is a big gap in figures compared against other periods.

Dragon is releasing two new 1/72 models, and one more, a Pz III late variant is also on the way.

ACE bring us again some French WWII models and another quite exclusive item, a British staff car Forlite Saloon.

It’s a pity that those models are hard to handle to most of 1/72 modellers. Topics are superb, but quality of the kits not so much.

PST & Zebrano strike the eastern front with three nice trucks variants, indispensable to keep your troops fitted.

UMMT continues their Oerlikon series as well as their trains related kits, take a look.

An interesting update from The Plastic Soldier Company, a Pz III box with three models inside which allows to built 5 different versions. Yes, 5 different versions.

Also interesting is to see how Pegasus Models is very active this year, and now offer a quick built 2 models inside T-26 box.

Last in the section is the Revell GTK Boxer (GTFZ A1)

A missed 1/72 figures update by Valiant.

More updates to come, stay tuned.
