August News. II (August 2014)

According to our sources, the 1/72 figure section is now up to date.

Latest additions include sets from 12th Century BC to the Tolkien’s parallel universe as follow:

Zvezda – Four new sets from their art of tactic range have been added:

• 6220 – Soviet Machine Gun with Crew (Winter Uniform)
• 6219 – British Engineers
• 6226 – British Recon Team
• 6199 – Soviet Ski Troops

Four more sets in the Mars range, including a new Zombie Pirates based on Disney’s saga:

• 72089 – Achaean Warriors
• 72088 – Sea Peoples
• 72081 – Thirty Years War Wallachian Infantry
• 72090 – Zombie Pirates Part II

RedBox, Orion and Dark Alliance also sum four new sets.

• 72019 – Wargs
• 72016 – Half-orcs. Infantry. set2
• 72046 – Soviet Tankmen & Crew 1939 – 1942
• 72045 – Mounted Men at Arms

And exciting news about next range by RedBox, for late XV century or Early XVI, including Landsknechts and Swiss troops. We would love to see those sets, with the high level quality which the brand has now.

Linear-B add second set for a Roman Port Life, while Waterloo 1815 bring us a very nice addition, Cromwell’s Ironsides. It’s a pity that they only includes 4 different poses.

Last, an also quite important, is the first set by a new brand, they are Ultima Ratio, from Ukraine (paradise of the hobby related brands) and present us a very interesting first set, called Mujahideen Taliban al-Qaeda, oriented to face Soviets during the Afghanistan war, but also usable in more contemporary conflicts.
