Soviet AA SPG GAZ-MM/72-K
25-mm anti-aircraft automatic gun 72-K was designed in 1939 in Sverdlovsk in Design Department of Machine-Building Plant named after Kalinin. In 1940 the gun was tested and accepted by the Red Army. The gun was issued from 1941 to 1945. There were 4560 guns produced. The beginning of production was signed with difficulties. Particular difficulties causing the production of wheeled carriage. The solution was found to install rotating part of the gun on the GAZ-MM truck and armored trains. Up to the end of 1941, the Red Army received about 200 such a kind of antiaircraft self-propelled guns.
