Semovente 75/18 M40-M41

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of an Italian WWII Semovente da 75/18 self propelled gun, fitted with a 75mm obice da 75/18 mod.34. it was built over different chassis during its production life, initially used  M13/40 and when they were available switched production to M14/41 and finally M15/42 tank. Heavier calibers were also fitted lately such 75/34, 75/46 and 105/25.

Influenced by the German StuG III assault gun and produced to serve as field self-propelled artillery end up as anti-tank due its good performance, superior to any Italian medium tank.

Ex ESCI kit. Includes decal sheet with 4 marking, 3 for the Italian army and 1 German seized vehicle.
