Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet T-62 tank, the kit seems to depict a model.1972, with the noticeable upgrade of a Dshk machine gun in the loader’s hatch.

This kit was originally tooled in the ESCI-Ertl times, one of the last new tools of the Italian brand. It includes link-and-length tracks in all the existing releases. Sadly the brand poorly tooled the wheels, which are a double-wide single solid piece instead of two with space in the middle. This design decision forces the tracks to don’t have inner central teeth. The kit has other minor mistakes or missing parts, simplified in the design process.

As per today, the best T-62 tanks, are those provided by Trumpeter. The ESCI or Italeri reissue (Italeri – 7006 – T-62) require at least wheels and tracks corrections to improve appearance.
