Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. WWII anti tank gun 3-inch gun M5, introduced in 1943.

The early production models (M5 on carriage M1) reused carriage from the 105mm howitzer M2 but in november of 1943 a new carriage was developed (M5 on carriage M6) and this improvement was retrofitted to all the early models.

The early models were distinguishable also by the flat shield, taken from the 105mm howitzer M2.

Kit just consists of plastic parts, no PE either decals. ACE also produces the later and main variant as ACE – 72531 – US 3 inch AT Gun M-5 on carriage M-6 (later version)
