Description:

Beobachtungspanzer Mk.VI(e)

This kit completes the series that covers the efforts by Alfred Becker to mechanize his artillery battery during the campaign of France in 1940, using captured British Vickers Light Tank Mk VI chassis and works together with kits ACE – 72293 – 10,5cm leFH-16 Sfl. Auf Geschuetzpaner Mark.VI (e) and ACE – 72520 – Munitionspanzer Mk.VI 736(e). At least four Vickers were converted to armoured reconnaissance and artillery observation Beobachtungspanzer Mk.VI(e) vehicles as the kit depicts.

The battery and the modified vehicles were a great success, they are considered the first self-propelled howitzer of the German army during the war and opened the door to future develops that followed the same concept.

Kit includes a small PE sheet and decal sheet with two markings. Tracks are rubber single piece type.
