Description:

Slave I
(Jango Fett’s Customized Version)

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Star Wars universe starship Firespray-class patrol and attack ship Slave I, produced by Kuat Systems Engineering.

This model was unveiled for first time in the (as Jango Fett ship) in the Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones 2002 film, though the starship was worldwide known in the Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back 1980 film, though in hands of Jango Fett son, Boba Fett, Fine Molds – SW7 – Slave I Boba Fett Version.

The Fine Molds Star Wars model added a detail level not seen before in any scale model based on the Star Wars universe, several of the same subjects were later covered by Bandai in a large series of releases since 2014-2015.

Is not the case of the Slave I, Bandai did not reproduced this specific subject in 1/72 scale, and Fine Molds works remains by far as the best depiction of the topic. They are not only bigger in scale to the older MPC – MPC951 – BOBA FETT’S STARFIGHTER (1/85 scale), but also on quality and detail level.

This model was released in 2004, included also three figures, Jango, standing and seated as pilot, and a young Boba (seated).
