Messerschmitt Me 209V-4 1/72

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German “WWII” Propaganda and Technology Demonstration fighter aircraft build entirely for the single purpose of beat speed records. It’s design and construction is not related to the famous Messerschmitt Bf 109 but because propaganda reasons it was given later the designation Me 109R.

The aircraft achieved its purpose beating the piston engine aircrafts speed record in 1939, 756 km/h, a record which lasted till 1969.

Kit includes decal sheet with two markings.
