Description:

Japanese M92 Light Howitzer and AT Team

Unpainted and unassembled plastic model and soldiers of Japanese Infantry support weapons during WWII.

This set is a re-box of the previously released Waterloo 1815’s set. It contains 2 guns plus 16 figures in 8 poses.

The main weapon in the box is a light infantry gun Type 92 battalion gun with a 70mm caliber and a full of crew of 5. The kit provides three men for the gun, assuming the officer standing with binoculars works with the gun, so real crew are just two. The gun is nicely done but elevation is fixed.

Together with the gun there is a team with a Type 97 automatic cannon a 20mm anti-tank rifle. The crew consist of two men, plus another officer (prone) can be used here.

There are two more figures, a man firing a grenade fitted in his rifle muzzle, and another interesting pose, a man carrying a pole with an explosive charge attached at the end of the pole, an antitank mine. A mostly suicidal weapon since it was detonated by contact on tanks sides and the pole doesn’t looks long enough to keep you safe after detonation.

All together this is a very recommendable set, with the small odd of the size oof the figures, slightly taller than other kits available in the market of Japanese WWII infantry.
