To compliment both infantry figure sets for the American Civil War, the same year Airfix released and artillery set, intended to work for both armies, which equally to the infantry sets remained in Airfix catalogue from 1963 to 1980.

Airfix choose a curious formula in this set, duplicating all the poses except one, but one set wearing a kepi and the other wearing a brimmed hat. The single pose not duplicated is a mounted officer.

The formula of this set, with one limber and two guns also heavily influenced future sets, not only by Airfix itself but also on manufacturers like Revell or Zvezda, many years later that followed a similar pattern.

Box includes 15 figures in 15 poses, two guns and one limber with a four horses team.
