Description:

Russian Crimean Uhlans

Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting Russian Uhlans cavalry during the Crimean War.

Box contains 12 different mounted figures, horses come in 6 different poses.

Uhlans are a sort of light cavalry primary armed with lances, with origin in the Polish-Lithuanian armies most of the European armies field them too and in pretty much the Polish appearance, evolved little from the Napoleonic times.

The set include less lances than expected, but it’s not so bad fact. The Russian Uhlans and in general terms the Russian Cavalry did not performed well in the Crimean War, and don’t took part in any particular noticeable event of the war as to make them a desirable subject, but in general terms is a good coverage of the topic and a sign of how deep Strelets went when covering the Crimean War topic which is something to praise.
