Description:

Crimean War British Hussars

12 different mounted figures and 12 different horses.

The British Hussars was part of the British Light Brigade and the famous (or infamous) action of the Charge of the Light Brigade, a frontal charge against well prepared Russian artillery and infantry positions which ended up in disaster and is believed that happened by a misunderstood in the objective.

Strelets has tooled all the troops that formed the Light Brigade, Strelets – 040 – Crimean British Light Dragoons and Strelets – 036 – Crimean War British Lancers.

For the anecdote, the box art illustrator depicted the Hussars wearing the left shoulder pelisse, the terrible mistake of the ESCI kit (ESCI – 220 – Crimean War Lord Cardigan’s 11th Hussars), but figures doesn’t include this feature and are appropriate for “The Charge of the Light Brigade” at Balaclava and most of the war. As always the 12 different poses are a generous offer and the balance and weapons is rather good.
