Description:

Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 scale depicting British Light Dragoons during the Crimean War.

The Light Dragoons were one of the three corps that composed the famous Light Brigade, highlighted in the history by the disastrous Charge of The Light Brigade, and event during the Battle of Balaclava that just decimated the Brigade for the rest of the war because a mistake in the chain of command.

Box contains 12 mounted figures in 12 different poses, horses also come in 12 different poses.

This set is a very good example of early “good” quality of Strelets sets, figures are accurate with a good detail and 12 poses is a generous offer as well as the 12 different horses are. Most of the poses focuses on the event of the charge but not only and is a very good set, the most complete to depict this topic, only also covered partially by Emhar, who despite of a high level of detail, proportioned sculpture and engineering, failed into deliver and appropriate number of poses for the subject.
