Tomahawk’s are the most widely recognized cruise missiles in the world. They are capable of operating in any weather conditions, travel at 890 km/h and can be launched at targets up to 2 500 km away. They were developed for the US Navy to allow ships and submarines engage in land-attack operations. However since their service start in 1983 multiple land-based version of the Tomahawk were produced. The unit cost of a  Tomahawk Block IV is 1,87M $.
