Sd.Kfz.232 Schwerer Panzerspähwagen (FU)

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII Schwerer Panzerspähwagen (heavy armoured reconnaissance vehicle) armoured car. A family of both 6- and 8- wheeled armoured cars produced till 1942.

Sd. Kfz. 232 (8-Rad) was similar to 231 version but fitted with extra medium range radio sets and a large frame aerial antenna, which later (after 1942) was fitted with a small star shape aerial antenna, replacing the larger frame. This update was retrofitted to existing vehicles. Sadly kit doesn’t provides both types of antennas, only the earlier large frame.
