Description:

BRITISH 11th HUSSARS
Crimean War

Re-issue of ESCI – 220 – Crimean War Lord Cardigan’s 11th Hussars (Second time Italeri re-issue it, using two different code numbers).

Box contains 12 mounted figures in 5 poses. The 11th Hussars was one of the two Hussars regiments present in the British Light Brigade during Crimean War and took part in the famous Charge of the Light Brigade in 1854.

Figures has the good quality ESCI used to do, cast is clean and detail is good, as well as proportions. 5 poses end in some short options but the main problem is set is not considered accurate though for most of the eyes, it’s good enough. The main issue is the figures wear their distinctive pelisses over the left shoulder, but this item was not available for them at the time of the charge.

Same set was previously released as 6052, Crimean War British Hussars. Old code number 6052 has been removed from catalogue, all the information is included here, the old page redirects and Marketplace section include, if any, options for both sets.

Older box layout from code number 6052.
