Operation Barbarossa – USSR 1941

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a French WW2 armoured 4×4 car Panhard 178, and advanced armoured car for its time and quite well armed with a 25mm main gun and a 7.5 mm coaxial machine gun in its original configuration.

Germany captured several of this vehicles and even keep production lines open for several months after occupation.

Several of the captured vehicles were converted by Germans to communication vehicles, Pz.SpWg(Fu), and so this kit provides extra parts for the antenna.

Kit contains 5 different markings in German service:

  • Eastern Front (2 markings, unknown units).
  • SS police division, Eastern Front.
  • 3rd SS Panzer Division Totenkopf.
  • 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich.
